Main aim of the charity

The aim of my charitable cause is to provide a better life and emotional support for my community. We need to spread love for everyone in need.

How the employee got involved and why

I have been participating in local charity organization called Peace & Love foundation and 1000 Cinta foundation. We started off by simple gathering amongst female society in Surabaya, and we thought we should contribute more to society by doing small charities activities for the unfortunate.

What work does the employee do for charity?

I started my charity with Peace and Love foundation in 2017 and we held a gathering during Kartini day. Kartini is the female hero icon of emancipation in Indonesia. We invite 10 working mothers to share about their life experience. It is a really touched moments when each female share their struggle in order to be the backbone of their family, for example one of them become a parking attendance as her occupations. In this event, we also held a T-shirt design competition, and auctioned the result, moreover to give the auctioned money for this 10 working mothers. Along with other members, we plan to go to Lombok this month, to help on the earthquake victims. In 1000 Cinta foundation, we held a charity event by visiting leprosy village. Aside from giving money charity, we also had a chance to listen on their battle on how to deal as a leprosy patient in their whole life. I feel like, to take part of charity activities, makes me appreciate life more and more, as there were many people who are not as lucky as i am to normally live their life.
