How the employee got involved and why
2015 & 2016 I have started to notice that our authentic forests had been increasingly suffering.
Besides climate change, there had been growing national neglect and lack of appreciation for our little green
treasure. Even our 2000 year old iconic trees were not spared, many old trees ended up being firewood.
I stood up for our trees. I have started planting Cypress, Pine and Carob trees in order to help
mend damaged forests. No matter how many trees been planted, I believe that every tree would provide life in a
way or another.
After facing logistical difficulties secondary to the lack of continuity of care for the trees, in such remote forests. This
led me to search for small farmers who could not afford buying their own trees but were committed to maintain
them.
I raised money to give them fruit trees, and helped them planting those fresh trees.
What work does the employee do for charity?
I conduct campaigns of reforestation and voluntary trees distribution.
I organise it all, starting with fundraising until the implanting.
