Jeongdawn Talent Donation Volunteer

Main aim of the charity

Our primary objective is to restore safe and healthy living conditions through home repairs which have an immediate and long lasting impact.

How the employee got involved and why

With a vision of "a safe and healthy home for every person," Repairing together with talent donation began as a small group of people in Seoul, Jaeguidong, who came together in 2011. Always I was interested in volunteering, and I wanted to use my talent what I have to fix the house for others.

What work does the employee do for charity?

Other volunteers and I have visited low-income house once a month on Sundays to do cleanings and lend a hand for repairing house. It has been about 3 years since I began serving this talent donation volunteer. and in recognition of service, I received a letter of commendation from the Seoul Metropolitan Council for my service on Aug 8, 2017

What impact would winning have on the charity?

Their goal is help neighbors whose homes had fallen into disrepair but who could not afford to fix them. Assistance is focused on the low-income elderly, disabled and veteran homeowners that live in single family homes. Our primary objective is to restore safe and healthy living conditions through home repairs which have an immediate and long lasting impact.

What impact would winning have on the employee?

A small thought that made me and my colleagues to look around, seeking people who need our help is what started this volunteer work. And, I am sharing my story to remind you one simple thing. Just with little attention, you will realize and see so many people around you who are desperately in need of your help.
