Main aim of the charity

Open Paws offer animals temporary shelter and medical treatment before finding them permanent homes. In addition to rescuing, the shelters’ volunteers group aims to promote animal welfare in society through events and adoption days.

How the employee got involved and why

Since I was a child I love cats and I don’t remember a time in my life when we don’t have a cat in our home. We always foster stray cats and they become part of our family. For the past four years, I was introduced to Open Paws shelter through a friend and since then I started to get involved with their activities in more regular basis, so far I adopted two cats from them. This involvement has come from my heart as I love to help animals.

What work does the employee do for charity?

I get to support open Paws shelter by donating food supplies, support paying their medical bills, volunteering in their open adoption day, as well as supporting them through social media networks.
