Main aim of the charity

Positive Living Community brings new life to the Drug Addicts and gives a dignity living for HIV AIDS patients. We have rehabilitation programs for the drug addicts. We go out in search at the streets for those who are willing to change their lives

How the employee got involved and why

I heard about the Carl's soup kitchen from a friend and went to see their noble works and was indeed touched and made a decision to render my services. Basically, they provide a place for the street people to wash their cloths, bathe and were given a lunch from Monday to Saturday. From there, I heard that another group, Street Shepherd Outreach, do feeding for the street people by going to them at the streets in the night to provide dinner. I too joined them and experienced the lives of the homeless. Again I was saddened by the condition of their living and their places of sleeping were under the bridge, pathway, overhead bridge and along the stairways of buildings. I then heard some of the street people who were willing to change their lives were sent to a drug and HIV AIDS centre. I went there too and felt pity for them and was moved to bring new life and hope into their lives

What work does the employee do for charity?

Hence, now I am involved in soup kitchen and street feeding. I also give motivation and spiritual talks at the drug and AIDs rehabilitation centre called Positive Living Community. I have also organized teambuilding sessions both at the centre and have brought them to a park to conduct water base teambuilding. I am also involved in collecting usable things and give it to the poor and needy. I am also involved in organizing Christmas party for the street people, orphanage and poor children.
