How the employee got involved and why

Premature Indonesia community was non-profit community, born because of sameness condition that as parents already pass through "life after NICU". As a mother from premature baby in 2015, I was grateful that my baby was stated healthy after screenings and tests along 21 days in Hospital. Under same spirit with other preemie's parents, we did some activities in order to share information, strength, help, back-up, and presence to the parents who still in heavy condition through prematurity. According to WHO, Indonesia is ranked 5 for premature birth, and Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) is one of the most commonly found complication of prematurity. Currently, We will donate an Indirect Ophthalmoscope for ROP screening to an Ophthalmologist who is competent to conduct this ROP screening examination, and practice outside Java. He is Dr. Masmeryani, SpM., who practices at RSUD Brigjend H. Hasan Basry, Hulu Sungai Selatan District, Kota Kandangan, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. He was chosen for his competence and expertise to check ROP screening.
