Main aim of the charity

To help the lives of these children, help them keep warm, provide them with learning materials and toys and teddies to play with. It’s all volunteer work, I provide donations and my friend Irene in Nairobi then delivers the Boxes to the orphanages there.

How the employee got involved and why

My mother’s friend volunteered a lot with my chosen charity ‘Volunteer International Community Development Africa’ I had an idea of sending clothes and learning material over to the orphans in Nairobi. I thought if they get the opportunity to learn they will have a chance at life.

What work does the employee do for charity?

So I asks friends, family and co-workers for donations of clothing, blankets, learning materials then pack and send them over to my friend at VICDA, she then drives the DHL boxes out to the orphanages and gives the donated items to the children.
