How the employee got involved and why
Wings of Hope for Africa was born out of compassion for children in need. When I became a mother I realized how painful it would be to see your children suffer due to hunger. When my son is sick, I start to think of those African mothers who don’t have anything to give to their children when they’re ill or when they need everyday basic needs. I started Wings of Hope for Africa so I can be the voice of the voiceless and advocate for their rights and bring hope to those in need.
What work does the employee do for charity?
I’m the founder of Wings of Hope for Africa. I raise funds to support vulnerable families living in Calgary, Alberta. and also in the East African countries of Burundi and Rwanda. I also co-ordinate volunteers who serve with us.
