Main aim of the charity

The vision of Armed Forces Tickets Association - Cincinnati is to be the national community-based model that provides entertainment opportunities for active military and their families.

How the employee got involved and why

I had met a fellow veteran at church and he told me about AFTA. I first signed up to get free tickets. Then quickly felt the need to help them in their mission to give back to veterans in a fun way.

What work does the employee do for charity?

AFTA gives free tickets to different events throughout the tri-state as well as several fund raisers. With the fund raisers they'll give free bikes to kids, school supplies, and much more. I help with the distribution portion as well as counting/sorting tickets. We usually get from 100-1,000 tickets depending on the event.
