Main aim of the charity

The main aim of AFRA is to raise awareness of MS through the community and also to support MS patients and their families emotionally, socially, and guide them. Arfa supports people who are suffering from this disease and part of what they provide are educational programs for unemployed MS patients. in addition to providing from them a healthy work environment that is appropriate for their health conditions.

How the employee got involved and why

I first got involved in this charity cause when a family member was diagnosed with MS ( multiple sclerosis). my family and I were not aware of this illness nor did we know anything about it, because of the lack of awareness. unfortunately, we were not able to give her the right support and fulfill her needs. Many doctors nowadays do not even know how to explain it to patients and sometimes misdiagnose them. This cause is the closest to my heart because of what I witness from a loved one.

What work does the employee do for charity?

Since 2016, when Arfa MS Society first opened, I was one of their first volunteers. I was involved in many different works such as: organizing events to spread awareness, visiting patients, listening to patient's dreams and trying to make them come true, leading a team in the opening of Arfa, bringing in volunteers and teaching them about MS and many more.
