Main aim of the charity

My main aim is to help people directly. To learn something about their lives and to show myself how good we have it. To get colleagues, friends and family members to do something - You can see the value of a society by how it deals with the weakest of its members. What do you think Europe is currently doing? In my eyes, Europe is not doing well. So it is up to each of us to decide how we want to live.

How the employee got involved and why

We were recently able to gain new experiences and participate in the shades-tours, where the complex world of homelessness was presented in a very impressive way. The tour was also led by a former homeless person, who gave us a touching insight into his experiences and the dark side of homelessness. This experience plus the daily commute to work, which takes us past people who sleep in tents at sub-zero temperatures every day, gave us the idea to start an action to help these people personally!

What work does the employee do for charity?

I don't belong to any organisation or donate mass amounts to large corporations. All the actions we do go directly to the needy. It makes a big difference whether you see the suffering of the people through the television or whether you have this directly in front of your eyes.
