How the employee got involved and why

Last year in 2018 I witnessed people sleeping rough in our nation’s Capital. This image stuck in my mind. I made it my mission over the next month to try my best and help as many of these people regardless of their circumstance. If I can provide them with some new clothes or a blanket or fresh toothbrush something to help them or make them just slightly more comfortable. So with the power of social media behind me I created a group and the response was amazing. I collected donations every single day after work and on the weekends for a month and created 100 care bags. Each bag contained clothes, soap, water, feminine hygiene products, deodorant, wash clothes hand warmers. We had blankets and brand new sleeping bags donated. The response was so overwhelming.

What work does the employee do for charity?

The charity 'CRISIS' is my teams chosen charity. We have been in contact with them and have started preparations for the coming winter for helping the homeless in London.
