How the employee got involved and why

I made the choice to support the NGO EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE due to their vision and mission to support performance at all levels and all ages. The charity has projects that involve professional athletes, children awarded at the Olympics, artists, environmental and medical projects.

What work does the employee do for charity?

RUNNING This year I have dedicated all my races and trainings to this organization (on a full year I will manage to run aprox. 5.000k, 120.000m positive elevation). Main running races in 2019: TRANSGRANCANARIA, 280km, 13.000m positive elevation 100 MILES OF ISTRIA, 170km, 7.000m positive elevation TOR DES GEANTS, 265km, 25.000m positive elevation CLIMBING The highest peak in Italy, 4.061m, Grand Paradiso FUNDRAISING This year I was involved in over 10 campaigns for sport and education, raising more than 3.000 euros for athletes and children. TIME SPENT WITH CHILDREN This year I was in contact with over 200 children in campaings organized for Easter, summer boot camps, beginning a new year at school. I also spend time with a group of 50 children near Bucharest (a village called Sindrilita), where I teach geography and maths for kids, but I also spend time with them in games and handmade activities. CREATING CAMPAIGNS I find athletes and children to be supported, I document the stories and write projects in order to support them. TRAINING OTHER RUNNERS Since 2015 I have my own running program, called I AM IN SHAPE. So far I have trained FOR FREE over 1.000 people who joined my training that start at 6.00 in the morning, on Thursdays. One of the things I am most happy about is that I managed to help a blind runner to finish a half marathon. I am helping Marius also in most of his training.

What impact would winning have on the charity?

EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE is a small NGO, with very low budgets comparing to national or international charities. Although the Association has projects for 2020, the resources are very scarce and many of the plans could be postponed due to the lack of founds. Winning the contest will offer the Association the possibility to stabilize their projects and focus on implementation and results.

What impact would winning have on the employee?

I am deeply involved in EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE activity, offering monthly at least 50 hours of my time for their projects (over 500 hours/year). Winning the DHL’s got heart would offer me the possibility of supporting champions to bring glory to our country through their activities.
