Main aim of the charity

The Swiss Childhood Cancer Registry (SCCR) is a national, population-based cancer registry for children and young people.

How the employee got involved and why

My secondary job started projects on voluntary work for all employee and everybody can attend 4 hours/week on any project as long as the work is not negatively affected. I choose KInderkrebs Schweiz because my boss is a member at this foundation and affected, too.

What work does the employee do for charity?

I help at events as "Basler Stadtlauf" and selling hearts , charity night in Basler Stadttheater or "Future Day at my secondary job". I work in regular bases at the office at Petersplatz and do the monthly donation registration.

What impact would winning have on the charity?

I can see that my effort makes a sense and it makes me happy to find more and more people who support the project. Kinderkrebs Schweiz provides direct help to affected people.

What impact would winning have on the employee?

To see a project growing and being successful is a bit like a personal win. It motivates me to be more successful and active. To be successful in one thing motivates to go on with other projects in private and professional areas.
