Main aim of the charity

it's a local charity that focusses on providing housing for those people with mental disability that cannot live by themselves. There is no age limit on the people that get accomodated, so they can stay there for their entire life.

How the employee got involved and why

Since I was a child, my parents were involved in charity. My father had polio and also was boardmember of a local charity. My parents were both very passionate about amateurtheatre. My parents have always envolved me in both their passion about the theatre but also in the charitywork they were doing.

What work does the employee do for charity?

Huize de Veuster VZW is located in my hometown and I use their entertainment room to rehearse my own plays/theater performances. Recently I wrote my own play and have engaged myself to perform it completely costless. The money raised with the tickets and catering is donated to the charity.
