Main aim of the charity

MIND- We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

How the employee got involved and why

My boyfriend committed suicide in March 2019 and I wanted to raise money after his death to help other people who were struggling and I wanted to raise awareness about mental health.

What work does the employee do for charity?

I raised money on a GoFundMe page to raise money for MIND, Manchester dogs home and East Cheshire hospice - (Mcr dogs home where myself and Andy got our dog from and East Cheshire hospice- where his Father passed away of Cancer) I also volunteer at a charity called Lifeshare over Christmas who have an outreach project to help the homeless- they provide three meals a day, entertainment and company over the Christmas period.
