O.A.C. Lörrach e.V. im ADAC

Main aim of the charity

Promotion of youth sports

How the employee got involved and why

I have strengthened my observation through the hobby slalom karting of my grandson Nico and improved his driving technique with tips. when the coach left for family reasons, the youth cart club would have been almost dissolved. I then decided to take the part, so that the children from the age of six years continue to have the opportunity to continue to practice their preference. At the DMSB I have acquired the National Trainer lisence C in a course lasting over 2 years. Now I am the youth cart for 7 years and for 3 years the cart slalom coach for our youth.

What work does the employee do for charity?

I train the youth and give them the opportunity to participate in German championships. But that also means giving moral support to them when they experience defeat, to catch them and to give them the power to continue. The young people learn to deal with victory and defeat. The family ties are promoted because the parents and siblings attend the events together. In the group are very different nationalities that make no difference by the common sport. There are children from Germany, Serbia, Montenegro, Italy and Great Britain who train together and compete against each other without competing. This is my job as a coach.

What impact would winning have on the charity?

We would buy a new kart for our children because our training card has gotten old and the repairs and costs outnumbered. We would like to continue to give children and young people the opportunity to train and learn about life in the community.

What impact would winning have on the employee?

The children would be happy if they could continue with training and with the community. They love it.
