Main aim of the charity

The main aim is to provide food to hungry children at least once a month - children that have no parents, or anybody that cares for them, children with the basic need for love, care and shelter. I try to provide a healthy meal and spend time with them once a month.

How the employee got involved and why

I saw the need in the informal settlements for children to be helped with food and attention. I started in 2010 by helping children at Church first with counseling, but the counseling was unsuccessful due to the children being hungry and neglected. I then started asking for donations and use a part of my salary to cook a meal once a month for the children.

What work does the employee do for charity?

I prepare food for them once a month and get them together, play with them and give them attention. I try to teach them principles that they do not get taught at home.
