How the employee got involved and why

In 2013 I went to a workshop in Kenya and I could verify first-hand the reality that was lived there. From that moment something changed on me and grew the needed to do productive things for the disadvantaged population. I try to contribute my humble grain of sand for the right to education and the social justice. A long all this years my involvement has increase until to create a NGO with a group of people committed to equality, education and development. That is how ZAWADI was born.

What work does the employee do for charity?

I am a founding member of ZAWADI. Currently we are finishing our first project of construction of latrines in 7 school of the Kochia area in Kenya and we are raising funds to start a new one in St. Mary´s Viwadani Secondary School, located in Mukuru Slum in Nairobi. This new project will consist of the repair of two classrooms during the school holidays and fencing the school campound to be able to continue teaching, otherwise this classrooms will be closed by the goverment.
