About ten years ago, Arlene’s daughter was diagnosed with Dyslexia. Her daughter struggled with anything that required recognizing letters. Being the sort of person who’s dedicated to making things better, Arlene got an Advanced Diploma in psychological counselling.
She now volunteers her time to the Maharashthra Dyslexia Association, where she counsels people with Dyslexia and helps and advises parents who’ve just discovered their children are Dyslexic. Arlene believes passionately that children with Dyslexia are special because their brains are wired differently. And with the right support, they can achieve their full potential.
