Mauritius is a paradise island, but it’s also home to a lot of poverty. Sweeta was determined to do something to help, so she volunteered for A Nous Aider. The charity supports 300 families across the island. As well as making monthly donations, Sweeta distributes food and clothing. She also helps make essential repairs to properties that are in a desperately poor condition.

Sweeta is now hoping they can offer free school materials and start a food bank to help local people in need. She believes that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.
