Manuel has lived in Villa María del Triunfo for 30 years. People here lack even the most basic needs – education, housing, food, light, water. So in 2019, Manuel helped found Red Social Voluntarios de Corazón with some friends, to bring more opportunities and support to the community.

They came up with the “common pot”, an initiative that has helped feed around 5,700 people in 22 urban settlements.

They’re also giving children living in extreme poverty the chance to have a decent education. Manuel believes that their vital work can help create a new generation, a better society.
