Through his work at DHL Express, Boanca learned to be open to helping people. When he saw how tough life was for the rough sleepers at Cluj railway station, he was determined to get involved. As part of a group of volunteers with Give Hope charity, Boanca takes hot food to the rough sleepers and lends them a sympathetic ear.

His dream is to buy a truck where they can wash themselves and have their clothes cleaned. He sees this as a starting point in helping these people integrate back into society.
