Main aim of the charity

Help homeless kids to have a chance in life trough sport and education. I spend all my weekend with the kids supporting them with their schools assessment and playing football with them. During the week, i have 6 childhood friends, still jobless, who take care of the kids on a daily basis and we provide them a small salary at the end of the month. There is also a kind of nany where we lodge them who is in charge of cooking food and cleaning the house

How the employee got involved and why

I started this adventure in 2018 inspired by my own life experience. I come from a very poor family and without the support of some people that were not even from my family, i would not have made it. I went to school and i had the chance to join a football academy that helps me to go to Europe where i had the opportunity to pursue my studies while playing football. The first objective of the sport section of our association (the football academy is to develop certain values in the kids we are taking care of : sense of togetherness, effort, hard work in order to achieve a common goal, going extra mile even when you are down...values that they will need to make it in this world

What work does the employee do for charity?

I have created an association calls ARAS (African Roots Association) that takes homeless kids in my city town and give them a chance to succeed in live trough sport and education. We offer housing including food, medical care, clothes...to the ones for which we are not able to find even one family member willing to welcome them. We send them back to school, taking care of scholarship and all the requirements. We also develop their natural skills in a football academy we created only for them.
