Main aim of the charity

The orphanage center of the national gendarmerie receives the children of gendarmes from all regions of Madagascar who died during a command service, especially those from the south of the country where the crime rate is high. The center raises and feeds these young people between the ages of 5 and 22 until their professional integration or independence because their families do not have sufficient means to ensure their survival. The wives of the gendarmes do not work because of the father's mobility and they have difficulty finding work after the death of their husbands.

How the employee got involved and why

We started supporting this charitable cause since June 2020. Actually, since the beginning of the lock down, they lost most of their local partners and they have difficulty to take in charge the orphans and some of them had to stop studying.

What work does the employee do for charity?

To support the orphanage center of the gendarmerie, we do fundraising, we donate second-hand materials for the young people, we support the children through psychological and spiritual counseling, coach them regarding theirs studies and employability goals and create extra-curricular activities that do not exist yet at the center.
