How the employee got involved and why

My co-worker Camilla had this project in 2017 and 2018, but she did not have the time and I took over december 2019. It would break my heart if the project was closed down, and it feels great to be able to keep it alive. September 2020 I started to collect used stuff for the shelters as well, and the DHL staff really supported this project with so many things. The best part is that the DHL staff had a chance to make a 5S at home, getting rid of all the stuff they don't use anymore -and now others who really need it, can make use of the things.

What work does the employee do for charity?

Im helping co-workers to donate x-mas presents for kids living in shelter for battered women. And with sponsors from my network I have managed to get donated x-mas presents for the women asswell. This year I wanted to help more, and not only once a year. So I asked my co-workers to give me their used kitchenware, toys, bike helmets and bikes -and the shelter was very happy to receive the things I collected from DHL staff.
