Main aim of the charity

FECT is a group of members from various fields who joined hands together to to provide education to the deserving poor and needy children and also to motivate them to help their younger generation get educated and perform this as a duty when they take control of our nation. FECT's vision is to eradicate poverty in India by providing education to the younger generation. Provide an opportunity of education for the underprivileged. Provide opportunities and facilities for the school dropouts, due to financial crisis. Break away the social and cultural barriers, which stops education for the needy. Emphasize the importance of education and make better citizens. Enable any orphan student claim for college or school fees from FECT with proper evidence and documents.

How the employee got involved and why

I am a firm believer that each of us have a responsibility to give something back to the society that has brought us up to where we are today. Helping the under-privileged is a way that I chose to give back. Like I mentioned earlier, my association with FECT began in 2012 through my acquaintance with Dinesh Chandrasekharan, the founder of FECT. Proir to this, I had been been associated with few other Charitable organizations, but realized that they were much more patronized and had better funding, when compared to FECT. Being a small organization and given the limited funding, the functioning of FECT is very transparent. I hence decided to direct my focus on FECT. An educated population is a prerequisite for a nation on its road to progress and prosperity. I hail from India and She’s making great strides in this direction. While primary education is a birthright and the Indian Govt. ensures this, there are numerous children, who, due to their socio-economic circumstances, are unable to afford higher studies, despite having the aptitude for it. This is exactly where FECT steps in. It follows a strict protocol for background verification of applicants and ensures that as many deserving students benefit and don't have to drop-out for want of funds. FECT also provides relief to affected people during natural calamities. They also support Old age homes, Challenged and homeless people.

What work does the employee do for charity?

I have been associated with FECT since 2012. I have actively been involved in fund raising and background verification of applicants for educational assistance. Ever since I moved to BAH in 2015, my association is limited to fundraising and other activities that do not require my physical presence. I spread the good word on behalf of FECT.
