Main aim of the charity

To support young girls in a manner that they would not feel the need to sell their bodies for bread.

How the employee got involved and why

I started in 2020, as a woman i felt that i had a social responsibility towards young girls as they have been marginalized for the longest time. I wanted to give them the hope that, irrespective of the daily challenges that they face they can still rise above them and be whatever they desire to be.

What work does the employee do for charity?

there is a community in Winterveld,Mabopane that is impoverished and many homes are headed by children. What i do is to supply them with groceries,clothes and sanitary pads. There are times when these girls are raped/sexually abused and i would link them with a local social worker to intervene in the child's life.
