Main aim of the charity

The main aim of our charitable cause is to build and create a visionary generation that goes beyond the limitations that life has provided them . And our country is in need of many volunteers for this similar social affairs. And the potential of these volunteers is very high if they get such kind of support from different sources.

How the employee got involved and why

We started fundraising and volunteering in this charitable cause since June, 2018 . Although Ethiopia is making significant progress out of poverty,our country is still a developing country with a high number of citizens living under poverty . We know that if we can help one another there is nothing that can not be changed in this world. We believe that we are the keeper of our brothers and sisters in all the circumstances. Our main reason while we start volunteering is to support the education process of the school in the life of scholarship students. We know in private school there are many students who have got a chance to study but the opportunity of scholarship that the school offered. The student might get the access to get a good education but there is no change in his/her family, community and even in their own life and need. They might fight with lacking food and many basic necessities. As one responsible person, we can help them by being around them sharing love and provide a little amount what they need. We envision to change our world by changing the school environment,the coming generation

What work does the employee do for charity?

I volunteer is a team formed to volunteer in different social affairs targeting children which are in need of financial support and orphans and that gives opportunity to different volunteers who want to inspire and influence the coming generation. We do three different things in our charitable cause, 1. Direct psychological support to our kids in the school, for the students are from different family background we try to support them in different way of training and one on one time. As our main part of our charitable group we spend at least one hour with our students. 2. We support the children by organizing our resources to provide them any educational material which we found to get from all our surrounding. For example by this year we are almost done on collecting exercise book for 3 Children in one of our school, which we volunteer and in other school which we involved last year, we helped them by providing a water tanker which store 2000 liters at once. We knew they don't drink water in the school for the school location is in high geographical location. And their parents can't give them a drinking water. 3. Summer camp is one of our interesting time we took with our students in Addis Ababa, that helps to develop the children their skills and abilities by different extra curriculum delivered by our volunteers. This year we were not be able to do it because of COVID-19 and we are planning on the other support which we can do in the time while they start their class by this year, so it can replaces our summer camp of 2020.
