Main aim of the charity

Kgothatso Orphanage Care is a centre in Gabane Village. It was established in 2005. The centre is devoted for taking care of orphans and other children who were separated from their biological families, mostly the centre is dedicated to those children who lost their parents due to HIV/AIDS.

How the employee got involved and why

It started in 2016 as we wanted to do something for the community. We choose this school because of our love for children, while researching we found out that they did not have enough sponsors to cater for their needs. We wanted to show love and give courage as most kids are orphans that do not have care takers.

What work does the employee do for charity?

We raise funds, supply groceries on monthly basis as per contribution from the team, regular visits to the center to check on what the kids need and confirm if the learning condition is suitable for the kids.
