Main aim of the charity

The main aim of my organization is to passionately help the community by conducting a lot of activities that provide assistance in different areas such as education, medicine, construction, or anything we can do in order to connect people and improve their lives.

How the employee got involved and why

In 2003, the Bay Side Youth Organization was founded. It aims to do outreach projects that benefit my barangay. I was the organization’s president during that time, and that was when I started doing outreach programs within my community. Eventually, I accepted the Vice Chairman position of Bay Municipal Triskelion Council in 2019. And since then, I was able to extend my opportunity to help others and to lead my council in doing more different outreach programs, such as the Oplan Kaluluwa in all cemetery at Bay, Laguna; Feeding Program to different schools in our municipality; Brigada Eskwela, wherein we are able to help for the rehabilitation of buildings in different schools; a Blood Letting activity, and many more. Also, we have four(4) scholars, in which we are helping these students with their studies, particularly, providing school supplies as well as their daily allowances. Ever since I was a child, it has always been my passion to help others. I grew up being a scholar of a certain institution in my community. I was able to have a good education as well as a stable job because of them. And in return, I want to do things right and connect people by extending my hand and to reach out to the community by providing such services that I can do.

What work does the employee do for charity?

.I've been part of DHL Express Philippines for 5 years. Also, I used to be a Vice Chairman of Bay Municipal Triskelion Council (BMTC) at Bay, Laguna. Here, we are able to conduct different projects and activities that reach out to the community. In order for us to support our goals, we do some fund raising activities. We seek also for the help of the different individuals who are willing to extend their generosity. Also, the entire council members are giving their support financially, morally, and physically. Not to mention the money that came from our own pocket. It is indeed fulfilling knowing that in our simple way, we are able to improve the lives of other people.
