To support marginalized young authors with knowledge on how to self - publish their works using digital publishing solutions and print media.

How the employee got involved and why

I was always passionate about reaching the zenith of literature growing up with the motivation from renounced global authors that include Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka, Ngugi Wamiri, William Shakespeare, Dambudzo Marechera, Tsitsi Dangarembwa and Maya Angelou amongst others. At a very tender age of 17 years i won the Southern Africa writing essay award in my country which i was handed over by our former head of state the late His Excellency Robert Mugabe. Ever since then, due to my love for literature i have published poetry books and novels that are available on Amazon and select shops in Zimbabwe. I have participated in literature and arts festivals . The problem with our community where i come from was that many young writers did not have any knowledge on how to publish their works. Many talented and promising writers come from very poor and marginalized backgrounds and can-not afford to publish their works. Some writers do not even know the publishing process from editorial, graphic design, printing , distribution and other processes. It is from this background since 2018 that i joined other well established authors to equip young writers with skills that they need to know in-order to publish their works.

What work does the employee do for charity?

I have continuously engaged myself in high powered workshops, interactive sessions and participated in arts festivals to assist upcoming writers maximize their potential.
