How the employee got involved and why

I became interested in this cause when I saw that a simple recycling action saves lives. I have supported this cause since I was 15. When I arrived in the South Region in 2019 I implemented it, because together we are more. In Mexico we have a high rate of people with cancer, many of them correspond to vulnerable population groups that do not have the resources to pay for treatments; that is why DHL Express Mexico South Region joined with this great project. With the bottle caps that we have been able to donate, we have received great news from children who have recovered or can continue with their treatment.

What work does the employee do for charity?

In each service center we have containers so all collaborators and clients can introduce their plastic caps, then we concentrate all the caps in Puebla and deliver them to Fundación Banco de Tapitas, with these caps we generate resources to support different programs ( medicines, chemotherapies, food etc;) for children under 21 with a diagnosis of cancer.
