Main aim of the charity

Our main goal is to give people opportunities for a brighter future. With initiatives, like building schools and supporting orphanages, we try to have a direct effect on the progress of ordinary people.

How the employee got involved and why

After an exhibition I got inspired by the work of Florentine van Espen in Garango, which made us decide to contribute. In 2018 I visited Garango to check the situation for myself. I found out that Garango is one of the poorest countries in the world and our help is more than welcome. With our newest theatre performance we aim to give orphans a dignified future.

What work does the employee do for charity?

Together with Theatergroep HoboBlues Compagnie, we give performances of which the proceeds will entirely go to the Garango fund. We co-organize events and raise money to finance the ongoing projects in Garango.
