We are helping those who are in need, we uplift the community and feed those who are stricken by poverty.

How the employee got involved and why

I have started 2002 volunteering at the Vumani outreach home, where i was teaching streets kids how to play drama, drumming and gumboots. most of the kids then ran away from their homes due to abuse, domestic violence and poverty. The home was not offering them food the whole day hence they start loitering the streets for begging for money. ( i was still a student at time and didn't have money to spare). that initiative helped them because they begun to play ( drumming/gumboots) for people instead of begging, they even went back to school full time because that brought confidence and they pride themselves. In 2019 i decided to assist the retrenched miners and Ex convicts , i was raised by Ex miner and i have learned that after they are retrenched families struggle to meet the ends., I got together with my 2 friends by requesting donations to help the families but that was not sustaining the cause and so we decided to star a little farming so they can maintain to feed their families , if we managed to sell at the market or at the villages , we pay them for their contributions or they take crops to feed their families. South Africa has high rate of crime and that affected us, people were stealing from us, others were found and jailed others not. so we thought it would be a good idea to be part of the convicts rehabilitation as some of those who were stealing were not first offenders, and again not doing it for fun but poverty, driven. Ex convicts struggles to be integrated back to the community after serving their time , actually struggle starts when they are in incarcerated , most of them want to continue with their studies or change their behaviour but there is study materials. so we do collections of study materials . we further offer them music lessons and acting. bought old DHL computers which is turned into a studio for those who are into music. they can record while inside and release thoise songs after being released form jail, that makes them busy and forget about crime. when they come out we help them to get job instead of committing crime again, we team them up with well established music companies and TV production companies. we also take them through the forgiveness path with their offenders. we are busy with TV production which will be working mostly with the Ex convicts for awareness.

I ask for donations, i use my money,i do farming or music events
