Main aim of the charity

Help women in violence situation providing psychological and legal support and in critical situations shelter.

How the employee got involved and why

I start in March 2020, when I met Arantxa Bolaina who is the founder of the association. Herself is a survivor of domestic violence. Sharing her story she start changing the life of other women rescue them of domestic violence and building the association that provide psychological and legal support and in critical cases also shelter. I volunteer with this cause because in Mexico we have a very huge problem of domestic violence and femicides; 2 of 3 women have been victims of gender/domestic violence and the effort of the government is not enough to save them. The association can help 300 women per year providing a new opportunity of life for them.

What work does the employee do for charity?

My volunteer in Viva Te Quiero AC is to provide fundraising through benefic sales and charity. Also I look for support of opinion former's in social media that can helps us with the fundraising and opening digital communication spaces to reach more women and making conscious of this problem to prevent it.
