Youth Off The Streets is helping disconnected young people discover greatness within, by engaging, supporting and providing opportunities to encourage and facilitate positive life choices Youth Off The Streets’ vision is that we are well planned and balanced to meet the needs of all our stakeholders and in doing so we are focused on outcomes, community and sustainability.

How the employee got involved and why

I started in 2012 when DHL asked for volunteers, I continued for a few years and became a team leader to help train others wanting to provide support for homeless. This was very rewarding and felt it was a good opportunity to provide help to the less fortunate. The patrons were so polite and grateful

What work does the employee do for charity?

Each month we go to a homeless shelter and prepare meals then load up a specially designed van and drive to allocation in the city and provide a hot meal for homeless and less fortunate people
