Main aim of the charity
We cater for the homeless, the socially disadvantaged and pensioners, in short, people in need of help with everyday necessities.
(food, clothing, hygiene, etc.)
But we also help with administrative procedures, if someone decides to go into withdrawal, etc.
My job has changed due to my illness, I cook, bake, preserve food, collect donations and sort them.
I write to companies or write texts for Facebook and Insta.
Unfortunately I am no longer on site as a risk patient.
How the employee got involved and why
I have been involved since 2016, when I only wanted to hand in discarded clothes, which became 1 time a month on site and then 1 time a week on site. Now I am the second chairman of the association, which makes me very proud. Except for my own vote (I abstained, did not want to vote for myself) I was elected unanimously.
What work does the employee do for charity?
Due to illness, I can no longer help directly on site, but I have taken over many administrative tasks. I write mail for the FB and Insta, collect donations, cook a lot of fruit and vegetables to preserve them, cook food, bake cakes etc.
