Main aim of the charity

Dementia Connect, Alzheimer's Society's dementia support service, is free, easy to access, and puts people in touch with the right support. From local help to phone and online advice. Alzheimer’s Society’s dementia advisers can support people directly by phone or face to face, as well as connect people to a range of local services.

How the employee got involved and why

I started this about 2016 when my mother was admitted to a nursing home due to Alzheimer's disease. The home was advertising a meeting and on the off chance I gave my details and offered to play to the residents and they accepted his offer. It grew from there.

What work does the employee do for charity

In my free time, I play music for the elderly in day care centres and nursing homes.
