Main aim of the charity

Coast cerebral palsy foundation aims to create awareness on cerebral palsy as a condition , to enable all kids regardless of physical or mental disability realize their full potential as a child and citizen. Through sensitization on the importance of physiotherapy, supporting in distribution of essential's e.g. food supplies, diaper's to less abled parents, aligning the parents to get support for assistive devices and medication

How the employee got involved and why

I began to support the organization as a result and motivation of being a first hand care giver, seeing the plight of the misconceptions of the disability, the social stigma, the depression that parents went through nd the lack of provision of basic needs like diapers that these kids rely on a lot. I began supporting this in 2019 as a community based parent support group and later joined what was a community based organization .

What work does the employee do for charity

I support the charity via providing both donations and service , i.e. buying of stationary eg books , pens and pencils and diapers. In terms of service i offer social advocacy by highlighting please of Cerebral palsy via social media, at the office as well as within society to support in spreading awareness and identifying support to get the children assistive devices from wells wishers and government supported organizations.
