Main aim of the charity

The home provides care to children up to 4 years of age, these children have are neglected by the real parents, dumped around Rubbish Pits and sometimes in Latrines. most are dumped at the churches and the Babies home gate and some are orphaned since both parents died or left at the Hospital after giving birth

How the employee got involved and why

I was raised as a baby at the Ibanda Babies home before joining SOS Children's village and i got this vision after i was out of SOS, i started the volunteering in 2019 after me visiting after 13 years from the time i left when i was 8 years and i was touched to support this great cause . i got inspired to do the volunteering and to support my fellow children who passed through what i did pass through, these kids are neglected or abandoned by their parents or guardians at young ages from when they are born, or even 1 month old and dropped in Latrines or Rubbish pits or the gate of the hospital, church or the babies home . such a child needs extra support and also the support staff who take care of the Children need encouragement to continue supporting.

What work does the employee do for charity

Make a donations every month worth 100,000 to the Babies. interact with the babies and the care takers. engage in the development and growth of the babies homes and encourage the support staff every time i visit the home.
