Main aim of the charity

Included animal rescue and adoption arrangement, LAAS is providing educational activities let the public know more about rescue animals and saving animals in need. LAAS hopes to find a lovely forever home for rescued animals. LAAS is also providing animal training course and lectures to adoptive families

How the employee got involved and why

The number of pets abandoned in 2020 has increased by 15%. Hong Kong’s emigration wave leads to more pets being abandoned as owners leave city in a hurry. Old dog & costs are the issues. Therefore, I applied to be a Temp-Sheltering to take care pets and feel the love with them!

What work does the employee do for charity

Every year in Hong Kong, thousands of abandoned or unwanted dogs are left at the death rows in government kennels. Since last year, I have become a foster to provide a temporary sheltering to help them integrate into the human society, become good friends of mankind and start looking for new families before adoption. Adopting a dog from a rescue or shelter is a win-win situation for us.
