Main aim of the charity

The mission of Tiernothilfe Leipzig is to help and protect animals in need and to prevent deportations to animal shelters. In addition, the Tiernothilfe supports the wildlife help.

How the employee got involved and why

There is no legal obligation to provide help for wild animals. Veterinarians are not required to treat them and animal shelters are prohibited from caring for them. Official associations are already overloaded. There is no official contact point for wild animals in need of help in my region. Two years ago I started to actively support and take in wild animals.

What work does the employee do for charity

I am a private wild animal foster home, which belongs to the Tiernothilfe Leipzig. Together with other people from Leipzig we help wild animals to get back into nature.
