Main aim of the charity

As collaborator with the organisation from Madrid, among other tasks, I have been managing the shipping of the FOC parcels. From March until June 2022, a member of my family, my sister Veronica, travelled to Tanzania to know the project and be part of it as a volunteer. She was one of the people that got the parcels in the orphanage with all Aheri's team, other volunteers that were volunteering over there at the same time and all the children that received them full of joy and happiness.

How the employee got involved and why

The volunteers are a fundamental part of the project, as they contribute to the construction, maintenance and improvement of the buildings. In addition, they also ensure the proper implementation of the project, guaranteeing the obtaining of the permits to carry out the activity, and the promotion of the project to acquire funding.

What work does the employee do for charity

As collaborator with the organisation from Madrid, among other tasks, I have been managing the shipping of the FOC parcels. From March until June 2022, a member of my family, my sister Veronica, travelled to Tanzania to know the project and be part of it as a volunteer. She was one of the people that got the parcels in the orphanage with all Aheri's team, other volunteers that were volunteering over there at the same time and all the children that received them full of joy and happiness. I´m offering all my help to build an orphanage and school for 80 underprivileged children in Bukoba (TANZANIA) Since i have civil engineer university degree and is one of my passions, I support them by designing the construction plans, as well as electrical and plumbing installations. I also buy needed materials for them at a reduced price by belonging to the union of civil engineers of roads. Sometimes I directly gift them the materials that I buy myself and some others I obtain the materials at half of the price for them. Beside, I support on spreading awareness and getting funds along with my sister who has recently traveled to the site to provide in-person support.
