Main aim of the charity

The main aim is to provide the basic needs that help make life bearable for those living with albinism and coming from poor families. The charitable cause thrives in distribution of sunscreen lotion for free. Sunscreen lotion is vital for persons with albinism as it protects their skin from sunburns thereby reducing the risk of skin cancer. Due to the economic challenges that persons with albinism face sunscreen lotions are not affordable to many.

How the employee got involved and why

I started it in 2020 during the Covid Pandemic. I felt in my heart the need to check on the underprivileged during the period when almost everything had come to a halt. This greatly affected the small organizations which survive on little incomes from local donors and other small vending businesses. It gives me joy to help wherever there is a need no matter how small my contribution can be. I feel that we were all created to take care of one another more especially those with physical challenges or conditions that make them unable to achieve a decent standard of living

What work does the employee do for charity

I put aside small savings as well as asking around for well-wisher donations to buy the much-needed sunscreen creams for skin protection as people with albinism are vulnerable to direct effect of ultraviolet sun rays. Their skin is easily damaged and vulnerable to skin cancer
