Main aim of the charity

Its mission is to develop football in motorized wheelchairs in Argentina to integrate people with motor disabilities into sports and promote their social inclusion, based on the generation of new bonds and friendships. It organizes tournaments and cups, trainings, communication events to raise awareness and recruit players.

How the employee got involved and why

As a result of my daughter's illness and in the search for alternatives that allow her to socialize and live a normal life, keeping her away from loneliness, anguish and isolation, we arrived at Power where we found a lot of kids with different degenerative diseases that take away their motor autonomy, connecting with them and their families. We started in August 2021.

What work does the employee do for charity

I personally go twice a week to help in field trainings, receive the kids, organize tournaments and championships, advise families that are in the same journey, schedule and achieve fundraising actions. We also perform different activities to raise awareness about Power, diversity, disability and inclusion at schools and social events. In fact, my daughter is the only girl in the team and she is really committed to bring in more women based in her own experience of how her life changed completely practicing a sport, participating in tournaments, being interviewed by the media, making friends and having fun. Living a life!
