Main aim of the charity

The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada is to cure blood cancers like Leukemia, lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), and improve the quality of life of people affected by blood cancers. We accomplish this by funding critical blood cancer research and by providing information, education and personalized support to blood cancer patients & their families.

How the employee got involved and why

I’d like to share with you an amazing experience! This year marks my second year participating in a fundraising called "Light the Night for Lymphoma and Leukemia Society of Canada". This fundraiser has a special place in my heart as I’m doing it in memory of my mom.

What work does the employee do for charity

I’ve been involved with this charity by volunteering whenever need be. Recently, we conducted bake sales to raise money and garage sales. All profits went to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada. Middle of this year, I have also partnered up with Strava. For each $0.25-$1.00 donation, I will run 1Km
