Entrants must be employed by, or under contract with, DHL on the date of entry. Regional Winners must plan to still be so employed or contracted on 31 July 2020, as DHL may wish to follow up with winners post-competition.

Regional Winners may require a passport or visa to attend the finale event in their Region.

Entrants must be actively engaged with volunteering/fundraising activities on an ongoing basis for a charitable cause. The entrants’ activities must have taken place within the year preceding the entry (i.e. from 10 September 2018). A person may not submit more than one entry, whether individually or as part of a group.

All personal details and/or information given in your application, either in this form or otherwise, must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading.

DHL reserves the right to disqualify you if you have supplied untruthful, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information, have failed to abide by the rules, and/or are in breach of the terms hereof.

DHL is completely free to decide whether activities count as charitable causes or not. However certain rules will always apply. They MUST NOT be for profit, fraudulent or involved in illegal activities. They must not harm DHL's reputation, or represent a breach of DHL’s policies or values.

A cause cannot be an individual person.

An entry cannot glorify the use of alcohol, drugs, weapons or pornography, or support political groups/parties. Nor can an entry discriminate against race, age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, political orientation or national origin.

If DHL is prevented for any reason from being able to make a donation to the charitable cause chosen by the winner, then another charitable cause may be mutually agreed with the winner.

Entries should be made online at www.dhlsgotheart.com. The competition opens on Tuesday 17 September 2019, 09:00 CET (Central European Time) and the deadline for entries is Monday 28 October 2019, 23:59 CET (Central European Time).

Any entries received after the closing date and time will not be considered.

All personal details and/or information submitted in the form or otherwise (such as in any uploaded video) must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading.

DHL does not accept any responsibility for any technical failure or malfunction, or any other problem with any online entry, system, server, provider or otherwise, which may result in entries not being properly received.

If you are experiencing problems with the online entry form or have any other questions related to the competition, please contact the DGH team by email at info@dhlsgotheart.com.

If applying as a group, the names and details of all group members must be provided in the same, single entry.

Groups should have a maximum of 15 members per entry. Groups with more than 15 members should contact info@dhlsgotheart.com for further information.

All group members must be DHL employees and conform to the employment requirements as outlined in these T&Cs. If a group includes members who leave DHL before 31 July 2020, the entry will not be rejected as long as other group members continue to be employed.

If an entry involves more than one member, and the group is invited to attend a regional finale at their respective Employee of the Year ('EOY') event, a single member must be nominated by the group to attend.

Each entry must include one video.

Video entries should be no longer than 1min 30secs and no larger than 100MB in size. The following file types are accepted: P4, WebM, FLV, MOV, OGV, 3GP, 3G2, WMV, MPEG, FLV, MKV and AVI.

Entrants must not endanger themselves or others, or take any unnecessary risks in order to make their video. Participation is, however, at entrants' own risk and DHL does not accept any liability for loss, damage or injury during the filming of the video.

Videos may be accepted or rejected at the sole discretion of DHL. These terms do not guarantee that a video will be used or displayed in any way.

The express consent of all people appearing in the video must have been obtained by the entrants for the video to be used for the purposes outlined in these T&Cs, prior to its uploading. In case of minors, the express consent has to be obtained from the guardian.
